This waterfall is likely little-known outside of Siskiyou County, or maybe even the town of Fort Jones, as it isn't included in apps such as Google Maps and AllTrails. I found it with little trouble by following directions from a hiking book of Northern California waterfalls.

The short, faint trail took me through pine trees to the waterfall cascading between rugged rocks.

Lots of greenery bordered and shielded Shackleford Creek which quickly calmed as it flowed away from the falls.
