Valley of Fire State Park - Moapa Valley, NV

There was something interesting to see from the moment I entered the park. The vast array of amazing rocks in different shapes, sizes, and colors was almost overwhelming. The opportunities to see them from afar as well as up close and personal seemed endless. I enjoyed the entire time I spent in Valley of Fire State Park whether it was while driving through the park or hiking one of its trails.

Scenic Byway

A 23-mile road runs from one side of the park to the other. I stopped and pulled over frequently to look at the striking red rock formations.
