The photos that I took while driving from Kayenta, AZ to Bluff, UT just don't do the scenery justice. For one thing, it was impossible to accurately capture the broad landscape within which these rock formations lie. Also, I couldn't capture many eye-catching scenes due to a lack of a place to safely pull off the highway at that particular spot.
Additionally, the sun and clouds didn't always cooperate. They instead often cast sunshine or shadows that ruined the shot. An example of this happened at the spot where I could have otherwise captured the view seen in the movie Forrest Gump when he stops running across America.
With all that said, I think you'll still agree that it's a beautiful area to see. All of the names in the captions are ones that I came up with based on how they spurred my imagination (except for Mexican Hat Rock and Valley of the Gods).
