Montezuma Well is located 11 miles north of Montezuma Castle. Every day 1.5 million gallons of water flow out of the limestone sinkhole into an irrigation ditch, predating the Sinagua but improved by them. People have used this water for drinking and irrigation for more than a thousand years.
