I spent two and a half days with my cousin Gary and his wife Jennifer. We spent a lot of time talking and catching up. Gary and I also played a round of golf and hiked 5 miles out-and-back in Waterton Canyon. The trail followed the South Platte River as it wound its way up into the canyon.
The highlight of our hike was seeing the bighorn sheep that are known to inhabit the rocky canyon walls. Because some were far away near the top of the canyon, I wish I had brought my binoculars with me.
