This canyon in eastern Utah contains an amazing selection of petroglyphs, pictographs, rock art, and assorted history. Despite its name, the road that takes you to the various sites travels more than 30 miles before turning into a single lane dirt road and continuing on.
The scenery within the canyon made the drive interesting in its own right.

And then being able to stop at different sites to view the ancient indigenous history made the experience special. Some of them I had to view from a distance and others from very close.
One of the most interesting is called "Coyote Places The Stars." While I got a great view through my binoculars, its location near the top of the canyon wall made it impossible for me to photograph. I recommend you take a look at it online.
