Fort Vancouver has a much more diverse history than I realized.
One section of the historical site is dedicated to the 19th century fort established by the British and operated by Hudson's Bay Company.

Another section is made up of the area which operated a lumber mill during World War I and whose airfield is still in operation today.

Old Hangars at Pearson Field |
And in another area stand historic military buildings, barracks, and a parade ground.
