Vista House was built in 1917 on the summit of Crown Point to inspire travelers and provide a view up and down the Columbia River.

It served as a comfort station on the Columbia River Highway.

Although it was closed for renovations, I was still able to see its interesting architecture, catch a glimpse of its interior and stain glass windows through an open door, and, of course, take in the impressive views of the Columbia River.
