This dredge had been saved and preserved since it had stopped operations around the 1940s. Before that, it was used to mine gold in and around the Powder River in Sumpter Valley, Oregon.

I unfortunately could not tour the interior due to temporary unsafe conditions. It was still interesting to see how big it is and learn new details about how it worked.
