I arrived at Diamond Craters Outstanding Natural Area a couple of hours before sunset. I stayed the night, got up the next morning, and began touring the area. Among the natural features I saw from a distance and up close and personal were craters, lava flows, and the landscape's general beauty.
Many of these features were so big, broad, or deep that it was possible to only capture part of them in a photo. In these cases, I think the photos don't capture their true character or the context within which they lay.
